Touching on topics covered in Goldberger’s recently published biography on Gehry, Building Art, the discussion traced the trajectory of the architect’s career and provoked further inquiry into the many misconceptions of his work. The easy dialogue between Gehry and Goldberger offered those in attendance exclusive insights into the creative processes and thinking of the architect. Reflecting the spirit of experimentation seen in many of his designs, Gehry advised students in the audience to follow their intuition in order to find their own architectural language.
