On February 20th, industry professionals joined together for IIDA NY’s 6th Annual Sustainable Quilt Auction. Local design firms joined together to create one-of-a-kind quilts made from discarded materials and fabrics from the industry. Guests were able to bid on the quilts throughout the evening, and proceeds from the event were given to Fiver Children’s Foundation, a youth development program for children in underserved communities.
The participating teams included: Perkins+Will; Gensler; G3 Architects with Izzy+ and J+J Flooring Group; IIDA NY; Spacesmith and Davis Brody Bond with Herman Miller and M Moser; Ted Moudis Associates; C3 Designs; and Momentum Group with Kasthall USA and Paoli.
