It’s time for a little Inspiration

Contract is proud to present a unique competition, which not only recognizes outstanding design, but a commitment to social responsibility in commercial interiors.

The Inspirations Awards, sponsored by Tandus Centiva, awards grants to the causes supported by work in two categories: built projects and practice based initiatives. Both paid and pro bono work is eligible for entry. The deadline is April 18. Click here for more information and to enter.

The 2014 jurors (pictured left-right) are: Katherine Darnstadt, AIA, Founder and Principal of Latent Design; Kim Hong, IIDA, Interior Design Director at granum a/i; and Paul LaBrant, IIDA, Director of Interior Design at GSC Architects.

Last year, the headquarters of TOMS shoes, by Shimoda Design Group, took home a $5,000 grant in the built project category.

In the practice-based initiative category, Partners In Health / Rwanda Ministry of Health by MASS Design Group earned a $1,000 grant.

The 2013 jurors also named four honorable mentions, and all projects were honored at a ceremony during NeoCon. Learn more about last year’s winners here.
