Whoever said you can’t have your cake and eat it too was greatly mistaken, as hundreds recently attended seventh annual New York Times Taste of T event, held in the Architects & Designers building at 200 Lexington in New York City. Hastings Tile & Bath, an importer, distributor, and designer of bath products, was one of those attending the charity event to satisfy their taste for food and design, while supporting a good cause.
Hastings collaborated with couture cake designer Margo Lewis of Cake Bliss and the Brooklyn Brewery to entice the palettes of over 350 people, who sampled the world of Hastings while indulging in one of the 400 scrumptious cupcakes that Lewis had to offer.
Hastings showcased its new Chelsea H125 Collection. Crowd favorites included the Atmosfere tubs, Vola faucets and showers, and Bardelli Fornasettiana tiles.
A portion of the proceeds raised at the event were donated to God’s Love We Deliver, a provider of nutritious, individually-tailored meals to people in the tri-state area who are too sick to shop or cook for themselves.
And those cupcakes? Each and every one was eaten!
