One of a Kind in Brooklyn Design

A beautiful night in Red Hook, Brooklyn with Lobster Rolls, great company, and furniture from Standard 41. it doesn't get much better.

I love hearing a family story. Andrew Raible is sixth generation furniture maker who learned from the best–his father, John Raible. He was taught all about furniture, working with wood, and the exploration of angles. Andrew shares his gorgeous studio with his wife, photographer Jami Saunders set above Fairway Supermarket in Red Hook where many artisans reside. In some very exciting news, Andrew and Standard 41 just launched a new division called Taible with a collection of tables and seating options.

Andrew went on to talk about his pieces and his take on furniture. The studio is scattered with chairs and tables and other items as well as photography from Jami.

Love the chairs hanging on the wall surrounding the table.

A new table with gold accents on the corners.

The view from the rooftop.
