FANIMATION founder and CEO Tom Frampton is well-known for his creativity (He shaved his head last month to raise support and awarness for cancer research), so it's no surprise that he’s also found some innovative ways to generate support for Indianapolis charities—the ceiling fan company is teaming up with Indy 500 Penske drivers to raise money at a charity auction.
Penske Racing drivers Helio Castroneves (3-time Indy 500 champ and Dancing with the Stars champion), Will Power, and Ryan Briscoe autographed a FANIMATION FARGO fan, an energy-saving model, to auction at the INDY 500 Carb Night Burger Bash Charity Auction in Indianapolis on May 28.
"We are delighted to have the opportunity to support these three great charities," says Frampton in a statement. "And, we are honored that the Penske Racing Indy Car drivers took the time out of their busy schedules to autograph our FARGO Fan. With the INDY 500 Race coming up next weekend, we are sure that our autographed FARGO is now a true collector's item. We hope that it will generate a great deal of excitement and raise a considerable amount of money for these important causes."
