Healthy choices

On Tuesday, May 19,  Bill Rostenberg, FAIA, FACHA, NCARB, principal and director of research at Anshen + Allen, will take a look at the intersection of evidence-based design and eco-effective design, courtesy of IIDA NY. The focus: Best practices and their effects on energy, performance, environmental health, and better patient outcomes. He'll also be introducing tools that allow an analysis of strategies, indication where the two topics conflict, as well as how to develop a system of weights and measures to move a project in the best direction.

Where: Teknion's showroom in Manhattan (641 Avenue of the Americas, 2nd Floor).
Time: 5:30–8:00 pm with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres before and after the presentation
Cost: $15 for members; $25 for non-members; $10 for students and educators
