We’ll always have Paris


….but will it look the same? The Guardian has an interesting piece today about a new initiative of French president Nicolas Sarkozy. His goal: To reshape the city of lights into the world's most environmentally friendly metropolis and put his own architectural stamp on the famed city. With this in mind, in 2007 he invited 10 renowned architects to town last year and asked for their thoughts. Today the results will be released from the group, which includes Richard Rogers, Jean Nouvel, Norman Foster and Zaha Hadid.
